SANH examines war and mans hate for man as expressed in the media which is controlled by moguls and governments against the best interests of the majority. Soldiers put down their weapons when SANH started working in their lives. The mission of this movement is to advocate peace and non-violence, to question the propoganda that a man becomes a hero by wearing a uniform, to refuse to conform to the dictates of propagandists and warlords, no matter what flag they wave. Peace means NOT killing.
We are peaceful individuals joining in unison with civilised people around the world, who do not see war as a solution.
We, not the media, will choose who we call heroes. "Soldiers are not our heroes. They can be heroes, they can act heroically, they can do heroic things - but the act of putting on a uniform and agreeing to put your conscience in a lockbox does not exempt you from moral judgement. It does not make you a hero...and we should not fall prey to hero-worship.”
Stand up and show members of the armed forces what you really think of their participation in needless war, bloodshed, killing, torturing and maiming."
