The Iranian spymaster and assassin story is just that - a story.
Washington is fulfilling its promise to create new jobs. It is hiring amateur Hollywood script writers to invent B movie terror plots like the recent one implicating Iran.
Is Washington too cheap to hire Hollywood professionals to invent terror plots that the CSI viewing public would at least find believable?
America's motives for inventing this latest phony terror plot are as transparent as their motives for invading Iran, Afghanistan and Libya.
Here is how the fake Iranian terror plot story unfolded.
The fake villain is a man named Manssor Arbabsiar who was accused of being involved in a plot with top Iranian officials and members of a Mexican drug cartel to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United States in Washington, D.C.
Who is Manssor Arbabsiar? Arbabsiar is a used car salesman in Texas who left Iran because he is an opponent of the Iranian government. He is known for using drugs and frequenting whore houses. People who know Arbabsiar describe him as a sleazy, untrustworthy, money grabbing fool, not a sophisticated martial arts, spymaster who hates America.
Would a spy master or a trained Iranian assassin leave a trail of phone records and bank transactions that scream, "Here I am"? Why would Iran who just released two American hostages want to poke the red, white and blue beehive? What benefit is there for Iran to assassinate an insignificant ambassasor on American soil?

Ray McGovern’s article, “Petraeus’ CIA Fuels Iran Murder Plot,” looks at the CIA’s role and the Israeli element in Washington’s latest propaganda stunt to turn the world against Iran and pave the way for an Israeli strike.
McGovern warns: “This can get very dangerous in a hurry. Israel’s leaders would require but the flimsiest of nihil obstat to encourage them to provoke hostilities with Iran. Netanyahu and his colleagues would expect the Obamas, Holders, and Petraeuses of this world to be willing to “fix the intelligence and facts” (a la Iraq) to “justify” such an attack.”
