CAGING PEOPLE IS BIG BUSINESS
Prisons are the reinvention of slave labor.
Importing anything into the USA that is made by slave labor or prisoners is illegal...however USA prisoners can be used legally to manufacture USA products. That's why 1% of American adults are in jail - between 2 and 3 million of them. That's more than 1 in every 100 and many of them are in prison for trivial offenses! Any excuse will do to keep the cages full!
