Hated Congresswoman shot! Whodunnit?

According to the AP and FOX News, the 22 year old suspect, Jared Lee Loughner, gunned down Arizona Congresswoman Giffords and shot her point blank straight through the head. His shooting spree targeted and killed 6 others including a Federal judge and wounded 12.

Jared Loughner posted videos on Youtube. One showed a morbid flag burning video "favorited" at his YouTube Channel. Titled, "America" Your Last Memory of a Terrorist" shows a masked individual burning an American Flag. The video is played to Drowning Pool's "Let the Bodies hit the Floor."

In addition to numerous details about his life, such as his favorite books, among which are The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf, there is a suicide video. Loughner's MySpace site has already been taken down along with his personal details on his YouTube page which he joined in October. Channel Views: 271

AN ARMY RECRUIT?

Loughner was a student at Pima Community College.  The above photo was grabbed from his MySpace page before it was taken down. Loughner’s was apparently angered by something that had happened at Pima Community College and felt he was being ripped off, but it’s not clear what triggered it. At one point he identifies himself as an Army recruit.

He says he “is a United States Military recruit at MEPS in Phonenix,” and as such, he is “receiving one mini bible before the tests.” He says “I didn’t write a belief on my Army application, and the recruiter wrote on the application: None.”

He encourages people to read the Constitution in order to “apprehend of the current treasonous laws.” He appears to be more paranoid than political, however, and concludes “The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar.”

To the extent that his videos are political, they appear to be libertarian-leaning. He was apparently a gold bug: “I won’t pay debt with a currency that’s not backed by gold and silver!” he says.  He also has issues about whether his community college is operating in violation of the 10th amendment.
